Learn how to train your silly pooch using a gentler approach! Only motivational based training methods are used, with a strong emphasis on positive reinforcement.

Due to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic, in-person group and individual training lessons have been suspended. Once the stay-at-home directive is lifted, individual lessons will resume with safety measures taken. Group classes will not return until things normalize.

Why wait? Don't let the shutdown prevent you from getting the help you need for your puppy or dog NOW. You probably already have enough stress in your life, your dog's behavior shouldn't add to it!

Individual training lessons are currently being conducted by FaceTime, Skype or Zoom. All you need is a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. There's no special equipment needed and you don't need to be a tech whiz to get started!

Lessons are LIVE, interactive and customized for your specific needs for your puppy or dog! You and your family are all welcome to participate and to record the session for your own future reference.

After your lesson, you will receive handouts and other reference materials, if applicable. You will also receive puppy "tech support" between our lessons if you sign up for the 4-hour training package.

I know many are skeptical about virtual training, and the feedback I've received from recent clients has been nothing short of positive!

Working from home? Schedule a lesson before or after work, on your lunch break or on Sundays. (Sorry, I'm off on Saturdays and if that is the only day you are available, I'd be glad to refer you to another trusted positive trainer.) We can schedule a 30 minute session once or twice a week, or a 60 minute session once a week - whatever works to fit training into your busy schedule!

Training and behavior topics may include:

- Puppy training such as housetraining, crate training, dealing with the puppy "witching hour", inappropriate nipping, chewing, jumping, and more!

- Basic skills such as sit, down, come, stay, walking nicely on leash, drop it, leave it, go to your place, and more!

- Basic manners such as reduced barking, polite greetings/no jumping, counter-surfing, jumping on furniture, grabbing inappropriate objects, and more!

- Tricks

- Behavioral issues such as some mild to moderate cases of resource guarding, separation distress, fear, and reactivity to people or dogs. (I would recommend seeking counsel from a veterinary behaviorist for severe behavioral issues. Feel free to touch base with me first for my opinion.)

Virtual lessons are $75/hour or $260 for 4-one hour lessons or 8 half-hour lessons
